You can now get up to 1Gbps mobile data speeds on StarHub’s 4G network
The race is on to provide mobile users gigabit 4G LTE speeds across Singapore. After Singtel, StarHub is the latest to announce today (Apr 6) that it has a 1Gbps-capable 4G network, and it is now commercially available.
According to StarHub, this 400Mbps-to-1Gbps speed boost is free to all customers on its Unlimited Weekend postpaid plans, which are first announced in August 2017.
At the moment, StarHub’s gigabit 4G technology is already deployed at the Central Business District, as well as key shopping areas, transport hubs, and heartland town centers, including Bedok, Bishan, Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Clementi, Orchard Road, and Tampines. StarHub says it’ll expand coverage to other high-traffic areas in stages based on network traffic insights.
